Coming This September

An artist crafting glass

The Mount Pleasant Glass and Ethnic Festival loves to shower guests with new entertainment.  2014 will be no different.  In September, some of the acts will be performing in the Mount Pleasant area for the very first time.  Old time country music will be added to our eclectic line-up.  We offer our stages to both local and national acts.

The planning committee is currently working on revamping Old Town.  Great vendors, entertainment and, of course, the log cabins will all be staying.  Get ready to interact with Old Town Mount Pleasant.  Details to come.

To keep up with all that is new and happening, follow or subscribe to this blog (links to the right) or add us to your Google+ circles.  We will announce contest information via these social media outlets.

It is never too early to plan for piling on the volunteer hours at this year’s festival.  There are four days for which you can volunteer.  Friday, September 26th, Saturday, September 27th, Sunday, September 28th, and set-up Thursday evening (September 25th).  More volunteer info.

Thanks for Coming!

The 2013 Mount Pleasant Glass and Ethnic Festival closed with a spectacular fireworks display Sunday evening.  Our 27th year was the most successful yet, because of all of you.  We would like to thank all of our guests, sponsors, vendors, and volunteers.  And of course, the wonderful community of the Borough of Mount Pleasant for all of their support.

Check the website for contest winners.  If anyone would like to share their Festival experience with us, please submit via the Sparky’s Storytellers Submissions page.  We will share it with everyone on our blog.

To help make next year even better, we would like your input.  Tell us what you would like to see.  Email your suggestions or comments to mpgeaf (at) gmail (dot) com.
